This year just seems to have flown by even quicker than usual and as it is now the end of the year, it means people are getting in the spirit for New Years. So before your new year’s resolutions kick in, we think it’s only right that we offer some indulgent food ideas to see the new year in, in style.

New Year’s Eve Party Hat Cupcakes

The first bake on our list are these adorable party hat cupcakes. Made by using sugar cones and a variety of sprinkles, these cute party hats feature fun New Year’s Eve messages like “Cheers” and “NYE” and can be customised to however you see fit. This recipe is relatively easy to make and serves around 24 people.

 

Strawberry and Champagne Cake Balls

You can’t bring in the new year without champagne! The next bake we have for you are these delicious strawberry and champagne cake balls. They are made from a strawberry and champagne flavoured sponge cake inner layer and then covered in white chocolate and edible gold paint to give them a classy look. This recipe can be made from start to finish in around 5 hours and will serve 50 – 60 cake balls.

 

New Year’s Eve Gold Marshmallow Pops

Third on our list we have these sparkly gold marshmallow pops. If you’re stretched for time this NYE but you want to make something that is going to stand out, these are perfect! All you have to do is dip marshmallows in melted white chocolate and cover in sprinkles. So simple!

Next we have a variation on a party food classic; popcorn. This new year’s eve version includes using melted chocolate and sprinkles to create a delicious table snack that will leave your guests wanting more.

 

Cranberry Champagne Cake

The final bake on our list is a real show stopper! This three layer cranberry champagne cake features a moist champagne flavoured sponge inner, with a creamy cranberry flavoured iced outer. It will serve around 12 people and can be made in an hour.
