Strawberry Banana Milkshake – Dairy Free Recipe
I made this strawberry milkshake for breakfast and boy, oh boy it was delicious! I used homemade almond nut milk, learn how to make it here. You can always use bought milk or dairy alternative. I enjoy making my own nut milk, so I know exactly whats gone in it. I find it cheaper and healthier than buying pre-made milks too.
This strawberry shake was a refreshing treat in the morning, it tastes REAL, not like that artificial strawberry flavoring, it was thick and creamy (from the banana), plus it filled me up until lunchtime, which is always a bonus.
Ingredients
14 strawberries medium
1.5 cups of nut milk
6 ice cubes
1 frozen chopped banana
1 tbsp of vanilla essence or flavoring
Put all of the ingredients into a blender, I use a vitamix, turn up to the highest speed for about 30 seconds to 1 minute. Then pour and enjoy :D
